The best careers start with passion. If you have a passion for beauty, for making people feel great, for transformation, this may be the career for you. If you do makeovers in your head on the person in front of you in line, this is definitely the career for you!
Our cosmetology students spend 350 hours as a "junior" student, learning the basics of everything hair, skin & nails. You'll practice on manikins and each other. You'll also learn the theory of cuts, colors, nails and makeup.
(See the part about nails? Can't decide between nail tech and cosmetology? Our Cosmetology students learn both! And Spa. And Makeup. And Skin Care. And Business. And Hair Removal. And..... well, everything.)
After 350 hours you become a "senior" student, and that's when the real fun begins! Expand your skills with fun hair color, designer cuts, fantasy makeup, and nail art. You get to work on clients in our busy student salon, and discover what services make you happiest, and where you'll specialize once you are licensed.
You'll also learn marketing, salon management, and how to take advantage of social media.
